The winery
The Oddero winery is located in
Santa Maria, a hamlet of
La Morra, at Borgata Tetti 28. One part is used for winemaking, while the other historic section, dating back to the end of the 18th century, is used for maturing and ageing the wines.
Every generation has contributed to the buildings, while keeping intact the L-shaped outline, characteristic of Langhe farmhouses. The wines are vinified in stainless steel and oak, while the refinement takes place in Slavonian, Austrian and French oak barrels.
The new winery under construction
A first part of the building has already been completed, mainly used for keeping the agricultural machines and for the storage of the bottles, before release on the market.
Currently under construction is a new expansion, which will be able to comfortably house the refinement of red wines and of the historical bottles of the personal family library. The works are directed by the architects Maria Teresa Bruno and Giorgio Sordo.
This is the new contribution of the new generation of the Oddero family.
